Do you have love and faith?

When I was in the corporate world I was always viewed as being controversial because I questioned status quo, but my reframe for that would be ’that I cared’.

If you have been watching all the other videos we own that we have ‘cracked the code’ on what it takes to ’sustain change’.  If we are to believe that in EVERY organisation globally there are human beings in those organisations and that every human being has what we call ones ‘default identity’, undistinguished, then it would make sense that there is a ‘undistinguished cultural default’ playing out.

I call these cultures, ‘Default-Default’ based cultures.

One human being is disempowered triggering another human being that is disempowered, and here’s the revelation, ‘default-default engagement’ NEVER works!  Psycho-analysing default-default engagement also is not productive so what we stand for is ‘Power-Power’ based cultures personally and professionally.  Being in your power with your own internal dialogue, with your fellow human being personally and professionally and the wider community is extraordinary.

To come from love, be a contribution and listening the person as great and managing the ‘default disempowered behaviour’ separately, is extraordinary – this is the premise for power-power based engagement.  I have just written a book in 90 days (amazing) and the focus of that book is on two themes, Faith and Love.  The book is called The Co-Creative Age – The Next Evolutionary Phase in Leadership and these two key strategies, faith and love, seem to be the key two missing strategies in every organisation globally.  If we are to believe that faith and love are the two most powerful emotions, two most powerful areas of a human beings’ life, then would it not make sense that these two areas be the most highly focused on areas of any business?

I do not wish to be controversial but I do care as I have stated above.  Love is the only thing that matters, yes even in business!  Most people collapse faith into religion, no disrespect to anybody who is religious watching these videos but the key is to walk it whether you are religious, spiritual or otherwise. A high majority do not.  We were born, fearless, connected and intuitive.  

One of the benefits of living a faith based life is to lead a ‘fearless existence’, sadly few do not!   I believe I am a spiritual teacher, what do I mean by that?  I believe spirituality is about ’trusting the unknown as much as you trust the known world’ nothing more, nothing less.  What happened to that childlike wonderment of the unknown world!  It’s a profound vocation!

What saddens me about business specifically leadership is if we do not evolve the thinking of those who lead then we are directly impacting on future generations that have not even been born yet!  Faith is one of the most important things, if not the most important things for a human being to grasp!  We are not attached to what you call your faith, higher power, universal force, energy, the zone, the vortex, god, spirit, collective consciousness, so long as you take responsibility to trust it and hook into it.  Its free, it’s on tap, you can leverage it whenever you like!  In the Co-Creative Age we explore this whole conversation is much depth inclusive of a Faith model that explains the important concept of ‘faith’.  It’s a crime that ‘faith’ ends up in the esoteric, woo woo bucket that most businesses and leaders avoid.
